Title
Tracey Pillsbury
Description
Tracey Pillsbury was a truly gracious woman.
When young women moved to the island, she often enjoyed inviting them over for a visit to get to know them. Out would come the good Irish linen with the beautiful lace trim, matching napkins, and a lovely "proper" tea with all the fixings.
She was a teacher of Home Economics.
Her husband had been a Professor of Marine Biology at UCB.
Tracey and her husband lived on Boot Cove Road on the water side.
They first came to Saturna with students and stayed at Saturna Beach and had a prefab called a "Dilly Cottage" erected on their property after her husband retired.
This picture was taken at Carol and John Money's home at Jim & Lou's 50th Wedding Anniversary on October 15, 1985.
